COMMUNITY FUND APPLICATIONS ARE NOW OPEN AND WILL CLOSE ON 5TH NOVEMBER 2026 AT 10PM.
Barwick-in-Elmet and Scholes Community Fund Committee works in partnership with Festival Republic (the organisers of the Leeds Festival) to provide contributions to local groups or associations through:
- A generous donation of £7,500 provided by Festival Republic, and
- The sale of 250 Leeds Festival tickets to residents (discounted to £65 per ticket).
Whilst funding is generous it is limited to £23,750, a total which must cover all of this year’s applications throughout the entire parish. Please consider this when applying.
The form which follows this notice should be completed in full and sent to the Committee by post to 3 Parlington Court, Barwick in Elmet, Leeds, LS15 4EB or email to grants@BandSCF.org.uk.
Applications should arrive NO LATER THAN 10PM ON NOVEMBER 5th 2026.
Every application processed will be assigned a reference number. If you have not received your reference number by 30th November 2026 then please email grants@BandSCF.org.uk.
All applicants will be notified of the funding decisions by 1st February 2027, although we aim to complete the process before this date.

Terms and conditions
* Applications can only be accepted from Barwick-in-Elmet and Scholes Parish village groups, associations, organisations or committees.
* Retrospective requests for funding (expenditure already made) will not be
considered.
* No funding shall be given for routine costs, membership fees, account fees,
subscription fees, subsistence or other such regular or annual payments.
* Applications will only be considered if the proposed use of funding is clearly
specified and if the granted funds will be used for that sole purpose. The Committee may request details that the grant has been appropriated in accordance with the application.
* As part of your application, you may be invited for an interview with the Committee.
* The Committee reserve the right to decide the method of fulfilment of the award e.g. purchase instead of cash payment.
* Late submissions will not be accepted.
* The decision of the Committee is final and not subject to appeal.
A list of successful applications will be published via community channels (parish news, Community Fund website etc).
